Eagle Claw Travels East to West and Back Again Pt10Top picture shows SiBhak Ng Woon Ying (seated centre) who was a good freind of our family and Shifu on a visit to our first school circa 1998 while in the UK on holiday from Hong KongBottom Pic Da Dao BrigadeSiBhak Ng woon ying (pic bottom right with red dot) was one of two sisters who were members of GM Liu Fa Mengs 1939 Da Dao Big Knife Brigade. Her twin sister can be seen on the far left same row people.The Da Dao (Big Knife) Brigades, were all accross china during the Japanes occupation, many people signed up to these groups to fight against the occupation during the sino japanese war.Our Shifu had a long good freindship with SiBha Ng Woon Ying and they always met either in Hkg or UK, she taugt Shifu a number of old practive methods Qi gong/Neigong Eagle Claw Ying Zhao Yi Ba Gong being one of the them . Eagle Claw in Prague.A successful and pleasant 4 day trip to Prague, visiting my student Pavel Prucha for intensive teaching and visiting good friends.Pavel received detailed teaching on the intricacies of Ba Daun Jin Qi Gong, our family version is quite intense and differs from the normal soft version for health. It is focusses on building the martial body and contains both Yang & Yin internal body changes. Notably good friend Master Lung Kai Ming of Northern Shaolin and Vice President of the HKCMAA, Master Lee Yun Fook who is know as Mr Lion and has a world champion Lion dance team in Hkg. Eagle Claw Travels East to West and Back Again Pt 8Traditional Jing Wu uniform.I bought my first demonstration uniform in 1990 (bottom left pic) from SiSok Ng Kwan pok, including the old style kung fu boots.SiSok Ng Kwan Pok family had a long history of making these uniforms in Hkg, my first one is long retired now as after so many demonstrations, performances and countless washes over the years it has faded.The kung fu boots were very hard wearing and long lasting with soles made from car tyre rubber, this is my last pair and I think number 6 .In 2002 I had an all white with black trim and frog buttons Jing wu uniform made by Sisok, that same year I took a number of students to Hkg who also had Black and White Jing Wu uniforms made by Sisok Pic bottom right is the last Jing Wu uniform I bough from SiSok Ng Kwan pok in 2005.Sadly his shop has long been closed and no longer makes uniform.Precious items in my collection from over the years … See MoreSee Less
