Our Shifu accompanied by Da Shixiong Stuart Keating, Er Shixiong Matt Smith and Da Shijie Cecilia Calamante travelled into London to visit Jim Uglow Shifu who runs Englands most prestigous Hung Gar Kung Fu School .![]()

The purpose of our visit was to congratulate Jim Uglow Shifu on his school 40 year anniversary, in todays modern times Traditional Kung Fu schools like Jims are few and far between but we all continue fly the banner of our kung fu family ancestors and uphold the dedication to the arts .![]()

Jim is a disciple of the later Grandmaster Chan Hon Chung, most famous in Hong Kong as the founding president of the Hong Kong Chinese Martial Arts association. Grandmaster Chan was himself a direct inheritor disciple of Lam Sai Wing , one of the most famous disciples of legendary Wong Fei Hong.![]()

Jim is a direct inheritor of Yang Stayle Taichi through Grandmaster Mary Yang a direct family Zheung Mun Yan standard barrer for Yang family Taichi in Hong Kong. ![]()

In our opinion Jim is one of the most highly skilled teacher of Hung Gar and Yang style Taichi that we know in Europe and would reccommend anyone to learn these systems from him ![]()
